At Cong Bang Corporation (CBC), every workspace is intentionally designed to align with sustainable development and environmental responsibility. CBC is proud to mark a significant milestone on this journey: Our Head Office has officially received the Zero Carbon Building (ZCB) Gold Certification, awarded by the Research Center for Sustainable Building at Hanyang University (South Korea).

With this achievement, the CBC Head Office is honored to be the first project – a pioneer in Vietnam – to be analyzed, evaluated, and certified as a Zero Carbon building.
What is the ZCB Gold Certification?
The Zero Carbon Building (ZCB) certification system is a rigorous standard designed to assess a building’s carbon-neutral performance throughout its entire life cycle. To attain the Gold Grade, a project must demonstrate a strict balance between carbon emissions generated and carbon mitigated or offset through real-world architectural and technological solutions.

Prior to this, the building had already earned the LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Meeting these dual green standards is the result of the CBC team’s persistent efforts to optimize energy efficiency from the design phase through to actual operation.

Key Green Solutions at CBC Head Office
To realize the Zero Carbon Building standard, CBC has implemented practical technology and architectural solutions with impressive performance metrics:
- Low-Carbon Material Application: Usage of gypsum boards certified with global Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), significantly reducing embodied carbon from the initial material stage.
- Renewable Energy Autonomy: Operation of a rooftop solar power system with a design capacity of 31.75 kW, optimizing on-site renewable energy sources.
- Natural Carbon Sequestration: The building’s architecture optimizes its ecological area ratio, integrating certified green landscaping to effectively absorb and sequester CO2 naturally.

Dedicated Partnership
To achieve this meaningful milestone, CBC extends its sincere gratitude to ARDOR Green, our design partner. Through creativity, dedication, and a commitment to sustainable architectural thinking, the ARDOR Green team joined CBC in realizing a workspace that harmonizes with nature, optimizes performance, and provides long-term value.

In a market experiencing profound shifts, this milestone serves as concrete proof of CBC’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, joining the community in striving toward the national Net Zero target by 2050. It is a testament to our steadfast commitment to our core mission: Always “Bringing True Values” to our customers, partners, and the entire community.
